They are out there, above the atmosphere. They usually whiz by unnoticed over our heads, but if you look up at night, you can easily spot one. It looks like a star moving slowly across the sky, but it’s probably a satellite.

An advanced tin can that flies by thousands of kilometers above the ground. One of many satellites that communicates with the Earth and takes care of things like telephony, the Internet, the GPS system or keeps track of the weather and climate here on Earth.
