Kreanova Dome Theatre
Kreanova is Kreativum’s scientific dome theatre.
Inside the 11-metre diameter sphere, content comes to life through captivating projections. Not only does Kreanova serve as a cinema for spectacular films, but it also transforms into a digital planetarium, guiding visitors on mesmerising journeys across the universe.
Within Kreanova, visitors can explore not only a diverse range of film topics but also experience the night sky in an entirely new way. You can observe planets, stars, galaxies, nebulae, space probes and even black holes, among other celestial wonders. Kreanova offers an immersive audiovisual experience while ensuring that the content is both entertaining and educational.
With awe-inspiring film screenings enveloping you within a colossal globe, Kreanova stands out as one of the highlights at Kreativum. Thousands of visitors have been taken on breathtaking voyages through space, beneath the ocean’s surface, and over snow-capped peaks.
The content displayed in Kreanova is powered by robust computers and two high-quality laser projectors, delivering a stunning visual experience. The film’s projection surface covers the entire sphere creating an immersive viewing experience. You’ll find yourself right in the heart of the film, turning your head to discover the unfolding events within the film.

Good to know about Kreanova
Pre-booking
1 viewing per person in Kreanova is included in the entrance ticket. There are a limited number of seats available in Kreanova, so to guarantee a spot, we recommend that you pre-book a ticket in our ticket shop.
Age limit
The recommended age to visit Kreanova is 4 years old. The age limit is set for evacuation and safety reasons, as well as out of consideration for other visitors. Children visiting Kreanova without an accompanying adult (over 18 years) must be at least 12 years old. We leave it up to parents to judge if their children are mature enough to both sit in the dark during a screening (up to about 40 minutes) and to understand the content of the screening. We want everyone to have a pleasant experience.
All visitors to Kreanova, regardless of age, must have purchased a ticket. You cannot bring a stroller into the auditorium, due to evacuation and safety reasons.
Accessibility
There are two spots for wheelchair users. For safety reasons, those in wheelchairs remain in their wheelchair during the screening to facilitate any possible evacuation.
Companions can enter Kreanova at no cost.
The screenings shown at Kreanova are not subtitled.
A hearing loop is available. If needed, staff can be asked on site.
